At Reconnect Outdoors, we have a dedicated and enthusiastic team who are passionate about children’s education, wellbeing and connection with nature.

All our staff and volunteers have Victorian working with children checks and are experienced teachers, facilitators and outdoor adventure leaders.

Our Founding Directors


Founding Educational Director

With over 10 years working in IB schools as a teacher, team operations manager, curriculum coordinator and Learning Specialist, Eamon has a wealth of educational experience. He has a love for improving elements through an inquiry-based approach to learning which helps to enhance Reconnect Outdoors programs and incursions.

Eamon has led and implemented student leadership programs for schools in Melbourne’s South East, organised 160+ student camps, student exchange trips to Malaysia and Japan and worked as a mountain bike and rock climbing instructor in the USA.

He also holds a PMBI level one mountain bike instructor certification for beginner to intermediate riders.


Founding Operations Director

Sam has been involved in Outdoor Education since 2007, where he has worked as an Outdoor Adventure guide in every State and Territory in Australia as well as leading high school groups on international expeditions.

He has a passion for exploring the wilderness and sharing these experiences with others. As a trained wilderness first aid responder, bushwalking search and rescue, and PADI Rescue Diver, you can feel confident that your children are in safe hands.

Our Adventure Leaders


Adventure Leader

Annalei is passionate about both outdoor education and growing community bonds. A country girl from Mount Beauty, Annalei grew up participating in Brownies and Girl Guides, forming strong bonds with her peers in the great outdoors.

As a Learning Specialist primary school teacher, she’s ‘hands-on’ with education and enjoys bike riding, hiking and camping in her free time.


Adventure Leader

Tim joins the Reconnect Outdoors team with over 13 years experience teaching Physical and Health Education. He has recently returned from teaching in the UK and brings with him a wealth of knowledge in teaching both primary and secondary children as well as experience in running his own sports business.

He is extremely passionate about, and advocates the benefits of a children living a physically active lifestyle in developing their social, emotional and physical wellbeing. He believes that creating an environment that not only nurtures, but challenges, is vital for children to reach their full potential.


Adventure Leader & Marketing Manager

Anna is strong believer in an active childhood and the bonds and friendships you create while spending time in group activities. With a childhood exploring the creeks and parkland around Blackburn, and participating in dancing and outdoor sports, Anna works hard to teach the health benefits of a balanced lifestyle between technology and nature.
