Reconnect Riders Report – 28 July 2017

THE WRAP

The week’s rain transformed the trails and tracks into a sloppy mix of earth and water, which the Reconnect Riders eagerly powered through creating large explosions of mud and water flying in every direction.

After 14.7 kilometers of joyous puddle smashing, the riders returned with big satisfied smiles on their mud splattered faces.

Reconnect Riders Highlights.

  • Tackling the challenging ‘Emu Hill’
  • Spotting 2 emus, a kangaroo, a herd of sheep and a camel on their voyage
  • Increased confidence and care while negotiating steep descents
