THE WRAP

Happy Weekend Riders!

Well, the riders saddled up and rode off just has the rain started to tumble down. For the first five minutes we got a little wet, but it would take more than a few raindrops to deter these harden adventurers. The rain soon cleared and we were treated to an incredible double rainbow that stretched across the stormy skies creating a beautiful backdrop for the riders to practice their downhill descents.

Ride Highlights

–          The ‘Go Slow Race’, riders try to be the last one across the line, the slowest rider without placing their foot upon the ground is adjudged the winner. Which helps the riders to enhance their technical riding skills and bike control.

–          The riders applied their skill and finesse to complete the short, yet technically challenging ‘Hobo Track’ which had short, but steep ascents and descents and tricky tight corners.

–          The ‘First Gear Race’ it was a sight to behold to see the pedals fly in a flurry of activity while the bikes slowly made their way around the track.

–          The joy of a rider taking his new wheels “the Mercedes Benz of bikes” out for its first Reconnect Outdoors adventure.

We are very excited too about the upcoming Reconnect Trekkers Adventure to summit Mount Macedon on the Saturday the second of September.  The following day is Father’s Day. So now you can look forward to telling your dad all about the amazing adventures you had summiting Mount Macedon the day before. Tremendous!
